Koike-ya makes and sells savory snacks such as potato chips and corn snacks. Its brands include Koikeya Pride Potato, Pure Potato, Karamucho, Suppa Mucho, Scone, Polinky and Don Tacos. It is a member of the Nissin Foods Group, has head offices in Itabashi and Harajuku, Tokyo, and opened its Kyushu Aso factory in 2021.
Overseas, it has subsidiaries in Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and the United States and a joint venture with Nissin Foods in Hong Kong. Its Vietnam factory, its first overseas plant, makes KARAMUCHO and other snacks for local sale and export. Consolidated sales were 61.2 billion yen in the year to March 2026, and the group had 1,172 employees as of March 31, 2026.
