Kyoei Tanker is a dedicated shipowner whose fleet centers on very large crude carriers, alongside LPG carriers, a product tanker and bulk carriers. Under time-charter agreements it provides charterers with vessels manned by its own captains and crews, and takes charge of vessel maintenance and ship management.
Charterers handle cargo booking and voyage planning, while Kyoei keeps the vessels in operating condition for the charter period and bears operating costs such as maintenance and crew expenses. The company works with shipbuilders from the design and construction stages, and a Singapore subsidiary holds part of the fleet. It had 67 employees, 38 office staff and 29 seafarers, as of June 26, 2026.
