Piece is a business-to-business inside-sales support company formed through the 2025 merger of RocketStarter and Bizion, followed by the transfer of an inside-sales operation from fellow BBD Initiative subsidiary BlueTec. It serves companies seeking additional capacity for prospecting, lead development and sales-meeting generation, earning service fees for outsourced sales support.
BBD Initiative identified Piece within its sales and marketing support portfolio alongside corporate-data and sales-management tools. In February 2026, the group said it was withdrawing from part of the externally sold inside-sales business and considering integration with its sales-technology operations. Headwaters absorbed BBD Initiative in May 2026.
