Shoei Foods, founded in 1904, imports, buys and sells dairy ingredients, oils and fats, confectionery raw materials, canned foods, dried fruit and nuts, mainly for confectionery and bakery makers. It imports from suppliers in 33 countries and handles over 100 types of fruit, along with nuts, chestnut products, processed chocolate, pasta, tomato products and retail packs of nuts and dried fruit.
The company has ten production bases in Japan, the United States and China. In California it farms prune and walnut orchards on its own land and buys from contracted growers, and its plant in Yanji, China, processes pine nuts and pumpkin seeds for export. It delivers directly from its own plants and had 1,483 consolidated employees at the end of October 2025.
