Yamaichi Electronics makes components that connect semiconductors and electronic equipment. Its test solutions business supplies burn-in sockets, test sockets and probe cards for evaluating semiconductor devices, and also offers test services.
The connector solutions business makes connectors, IC sockets for mounting and YFLEX flexible wiring boards. In the optical business, group company Koshin Kogaku makes thin-film optical filters used in blood and PCR testing equipment, surveillance and professional video cameras, and production-line measurement. The group had 2,060 employees at the end of March 2026.
