Responsibilities include analyzing legacy workflows and management issues within client organizations, identifying where AI agents and other technologies should be embedded, and developing transformation scenarios. The strategist works closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to lead projects, turning lessons from client implementations into reusable management patterns and feedback for product features or new businesses. The role also develops CxO-level proposals for enterprise and mid-sized clients, from opportunity creation through stakeholder alignment.
Requirements include approximately five or more years of business or IT consulting / IT solutions experience, a record of leading business-process renewal or system implementation, and understanding of both business processes and system architecture or data models. Experience leading enterprise or mid-market projects involving complex stakeholders is required. Development or product-management-related experience, familiarity with AI and LLM technologies, and knowledge of ERP, accounting, or budgeting and actual-performance management are preferred.
This is a full-time, Tokyo-based hybrid role. Office attendance is required two days per week in principle, with three or more days recommended. The position uses a flextime system with an eight-hour standard workday.
