This role manages TIER IV projects targeting markets outside Japan, primarily in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Working directly with the Head of Regional BizDev in each region, the role negotiates and closes contracts with overseas customers and partners, monitors project progress, and manages the alignment of project activities with internal processes. It also promotes coordination with other business units, product teams, and R&D, while supporting overseas project execution through knowledge and resources from the Japan headquarters.

The work is part of a B2B business serving vehicle manufacturers, including commercial and passenger vehicle makers, as well as transport operators. TIER IV develops and provides Autoware, an open-source autonomous-driving software platform. Its main products are Pilot.Auto, which provides validated autonomous-driving software and a reference design; Web.Auto, a cloud-native DevOps development environment; and Edge.Auto, an advanced hardware platform for autonomous driving.
