About this role
This role is responsible for the electrical and controls design of peripheral equipment supporting Mujin’s intelligent robot systems. The scope covers the complete automation system rather than the robot alone, including robot hands, peripheral equipment, control panels, distribution boards, and higher-level systems.
The engineer designs controls, control panels, and equipment layouts. Designs are customized to the different requirements of individual customers. The role works closely with the mechanical design team while developing these customer-specific systems.
Applicants need electrical or controls design experience, equipment design for production or factory automation, customer-specific customization, basic electrical-drawing knowledge, and experience helping progress projects. Business-level Japanese reading, writing, and speaking is required. Control-panel and wiring design, PLCs, servos, sensors, inverters, and 2D or 3D CAD are preferred skills.
