Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

The role belongs to the Overseas Business Department's Construction Section and covers mechanical and electrical engineering for infrastructure projects, mainly in Southeast Asia. Projects include water supply facilities, water treatment plants, universities, and public facilities.

Responsibilities span the full project process. The engineer supports bidding for new projects, prepares and reviews engineering and construction drawings, manages equipment procurement, quality control, and transportation logistics, and provides commissioning coordination, construction support, and after-sales support at project sites.

Applicants must have graduated from high school or above, hold a Class 2 Electrical Worker qualification, and have at least 10 years of experience and relevant knowledge in electrical or mechanical work at construction sites or factories. A Class 1 Electrical Worker qualification is welcome.

The position is full-time and based at the East Japan Branch in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Transfers may occur in the future; the initial location is determined based on the applicant's preferences and suitability. Working hours are 8:30 to 17:20, including a 50-minute break, with eight hours of scheduled working time. Overtime is approximately 15 to 30 hours per month. The company has a remote-work system, although the posting does not specify its conditions.

Annual holidays total 125 days, including Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, bereavement leave, paid leave, summer leave, year-end and New Year holidays, and other company-calendar holidays. Paid leave is 14 days after six months of employment. The salary is an expected annual income of JPY 5.9 million to JPY 9.4 million, with monthly pay of JPY 351,000 to JPY 505,000 including allowances, paid monthly, and bonuses twice a year. The final amount depends on experience and qualifications.
