This role is part of the AI Project Promotion Office within DeNA’s AI and Data Strategy Division. The division includes data scientists, including Kaggle Masters, as well as data engineers and machine-learning engineers.
The role responds to consultations and requests from clients and internal business units. It identifies business issues and opportunities for AI use, defines requirements, adjusts the technical approach to those requirements, and leads AI-related projects.
Project management responsibilities cover proposals, contracts, proof-of-concept work, and service implementation. The role manages quality, cost, and delivery considerations and aligns expectations throughout the project. It also connects engineers and people in related departments with clients and internal business stakeholders, while handling stakeholder negotiations and management.
Potential assignments include sports-domain product development intended to accelerate team strengthening through AI, and game-domain product development intended to create new gaming experiences using AI. Prior knowledge of either domain is not required. An AI product manager currently on the team provides onboarding and launch support. The assignment destination and allocation percentage may change depending on business conditions.
The role can be based at DeNA’s Shibuya office in Tokyo, either of its listed Yokohama offices, or the employee’s home or another company-approved location for remote work.
