Tailor develops Tailor Platform, a development platform that cuts the build time of business systems used by large companies to a tenth. The Backend Engineer in the Global Engineering department works on the platform layer or on the BFF (Backend for Frontend) layer of individual applications. BFFs must be launched quickly for each customer, so the team builds agile frameworks using code generation and templates. The tech lead acts as a playing manager.
