Its AI Lab, which sits directly under the CTO, brings generative AI to those businesses and to the group's operations. The Software Engineer in the AI Lab enables the business teams to apply generative AI themselves.
The work has two sides. On the platform side the engineer builds reusable infrastructure, tools, libraries, guardrails and data flows, researches new technology, shares findings inside and outside the company, and improves the lab's own use of agents.
Applicants need experience building web applications with backend and frontend, experience implementing some system with machine-learning models or LLMs (personal projects count), and leadership in product development in any form. Prompt engineering, fine-tuning, AI use in digital marketing, data science or machine-learning expertise, AI user-experience design and project management are preferred.
