The Data & AI Engineering Manager leads data engineers and LLM Ops engineers and provides technical leadership for Well Compass’s data platform. The role translates business strategies and requirements from executives and product managers into technical requirements, coordinates project priorities and schedules, manages resources, monitors delegated project work and supports members when needed. The development and execution environment includes SQL, Python and shell scripting. The cloud infrastructure and agent platform use Google Cloud, including BigQuery, Cloud Run and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. The data stack includes dbt and Cloud Workflows for pipelines, Data Studio, formerly Looker Studio, for BI, and Terraform for configuration management. The selection process generally includes a casual manager meeting, a manager-and-team first interview, a department-head second interview, a business-division deputy-head third interview, and an HR-head final interview. The second interview is expected to be in person at DeNA’s Shibuya headquarters.
