DX/AI Project Manager

This position works as a system consultant and project manager in the enterprise solutions division. The division develops solutions for major financial institutions and real-estate developers, using reusable products based on common customer issues rather than building a separate bespoke SI system for every customer.

The role defines QCDS and project goals through communication with internal and external stakeholders. It agrees project roadmaps with customers, manages issues and progress, and drives software development in coordination with UI designers and engineers. The consultant is expected to understand customers’ broad and complex business operations and use that understanding to lead large-scale projects and address business challenges.

Required experience includes project management or PMO experience on a large-scale software development project that took at least one year from planning through production migration or involved development effort of 100 person-months or more. Experience creating WBS documents, managing progress and risks, coordinating stakeholders, and managing quality is required. Experience with requirements definition and basic design is also required.

Preferred experience includes serving as a product manager for an in-house product or service, designing or introducing cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure, managing nearshore or offshore development outsourcing, and providing business consulting.

The position is full-time with no fixed contract term and includes a three-month probationary period from the start date. The listed annual salary range is JPY 10,000,000 to 15,000,000, while the posting states that the final grade and amount are determined individually under company rules. Monthly salary includes base pay and a fixed allowance equivalent to 40 hours of overtime. Raises and bonuses may each be provided up to twice a year depending on company and individual performance.

The work location is the company headquarters in Akasaka, Minato, Tokyo. Other company-designated locations may apply, including offices in Tokyo and Niigata. The company encourages combining attendance at the headquarters with remote work and gives a residential guideline of within Tokyo and three neighboring prefectures or within a 90-minute one-way ordinary-train commute.

The working system is discretionary labor, generally based on 10:00–19:00, with start and end times left to the worker’s decision. A one-hour break is provided during working hours when work exceeds six hours, and work beyond scheduled hours may occur. Holidays are Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, with 125 annual holidays, three days of summer leave, three days of Welcome leave usable during probation, and year-end and New Year holidays.
