LegalOn Technologies is hiring a Corporate Security Engineer to protect its corporate IT environment, which covers the Japanese company and its group companies in the US and Germany. The role carries out the corporate security strategy and improves day-to-day operations in the CSIRT; it excludes the security of the product itself.
The engineer takes on one or several areas: endpoint security, baselines and vulnerability management, least-privilege access control and identity lifecycle management, data protection such as DLP and encryption, data residency, cloud security posture management, and incident response. Incident response includes maintaining response plans, handling escalations from the SOC, running investigations and forensics, working with external security vendors, and running drills and post-incident reviews. Security threats and solutions are researched and evaluated, and improvements follow a secure-by-design approach. Night or holiday response can be needed for critical alerts.
