Infrastructure Engineer

This role is in Money Forward's Account Aggregation division, which builds systems to collect user financial data used across the company's household budgeting, asset management, and business cloud services. Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating cloud (AWS) and on-premises infrastructure; maintaining metrics and monitoring (e.g., Datadog), configuring alerts, and handling incidents including response, recovery, incident management, and postmortems; evaluating and optimizing application and infrastructure performance; building mechanisms to detect and prevent failures; improving service reliability by defining and operating SLIs/SLOs; security operations and compliance across the infrastructure; designing and operating platforms (CI/CD, development and test environments) to maximize developer productivity; reviewing availability and reliability from the design stage; and addressing regulatory requirements specific to the financial industry. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure design/operations; working knowledge of Linux, networking, and security; AWS usage/design/operations experience; experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes or ECS; experience building and using monitoring/observability tooling; hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g., Terraform); and development experience using Git with pull-request-based review. Japanese: basic conversational or JLPT N3-equivalent level. English: TOEIC 700+ with the ability to handle meetings and text communication in English soon after joining. Full-time, hybrid work style based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, with required in-office attendance at least 2 days per week.
