About this role

As Intern Research Scientist (Robotics) you: design and build scalable data-collection systems operating across hundreds of humanoid/mobile robots; develop semi-autonomous teleoperation systems with low latency, high controllability and minimal operator workload; create automated pipelines to deploy trained models and evaluate them in simulation and the real world; and work with the VLA team to integrate and deploy cutting-edge models onto physical robots. Required: currently pursuing (or recently completed) a master's/PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, CS or related; solid robotics understanding and strong research motivation; hands-on physical-robot experience; and proficiency in a robotics language (Python, C++, ROS 1/2). Preferred: robotics/AI publications (RSS, CoRL, ICRA, IROS); teleoperation systems (leader–follower, AR/VR); control methods (impedance/force control, sim-to-real); tactile/force–torque sensing; high-fidelity simulators (MuJoCo, PyBullet, Isaac Sim).
