iOS Engineer

Pococha is a community connecting live streamers and listeners. The iOS engineer develops the app that supports this service, working with planning and design to implement new functionality and tune detailed behavior and motion. Ongoing updates for live streams and events include building new screens, adding features, and adjusting interactions.

The role covers both product changes and quality improvements. Responsibilities include improving stability and the operating environment so the app remains comfortable to use under high load, reviewing UI flows based on usage, and adjusting responses to user actions. The engineer also reorganizes the long-running codebase to make it more resilient to additions and changes, including reviewing asynchronous processing and clarifying responsibilities within the code.

Claude Code, Coding Intelligence, Cursor, and Gemini are used to improve the efficiency of implementation and verification work. The position involves continuous work across new feature development, existing-function improvement, UI adjustment, and review of the app foundation. The team actively incorporates AI tools and continually updates the development experience while testing new technologies.

Releases generate responses in the form of metrics and comments, allowing the effects of changes to be observed. The role covers design, implementation, and improvement so that both app quality and usability are maintained.

The listed work locations are DeNA’s Shibuya office in Tokyo and its Yokohama Arai Building and Yokohama BASEGATE offices, or a home or equivalent location approved by the company for remote work. The work location may change to company-designated business sites, including remote-work locations. Indoor smoking is prohibited at the listed offices, although indoor smoking areas are available.
