AI tools and new production methods may also be used to improve the quality and speed of design exploration and delivery. Example outputs include customer journey maps, user story maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI designs, and design-system or component improvements.
The position is part of the Product Department, which handles digital product value creation and direction. The department's areas include product planning and development, user and design research such as in-depth interviews, user testing, and behavioral observation, and UX/UI design for web and app prototyping, validation, information architecture, and UI design. The role involves working closely with clinics and routinely discussing practical issues with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists.
Design tools include Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud. Communication and collaboration tools include Slack, Google Meet, Notion, Miro, and Google Sheets. The product team includes 15 product managers, 7 product designers, and 4 communication designers, excluding contractors.
The work location is an office in Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku, Tokyo, or remote. A flextime system and remote work are available. The initial area and mission are determined according to the candidate's experience and interests. The role offers a path to broader service design across multiple areas, design-system improvement, and participation in product decisions depending on interests and results.
