Security Consultant / Manager Candidate

This role sits in SoftBank’s newly established corporate cybersecurity consulting organization. It supports business clients in understanding cyber risks across their business, operations and IT environments, then turning that assessment into practical security transformation. The work covers both consulting delivery and the expansion of the consulting business itself, including service planning, proposal development, project execution and knowledge building.

The role involves interviews with executives and information-system or security teams, security assessments, maturity and gap analysis, strategy and roadmap development, and solution planning across zero trust, SASE, EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOC, identity management, vulnerability management, cloud security and AI security. Required qualifications include experience in security-related work or one of these areas, experience organizing client or stakeholder needs and proposing solutions, foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud, identity or security operations, strong business documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and move projects forward. Manager-level candidates additionally need experience leading projects, managing delivery or proposals, or developing and managing team members.
