This role supports corporate and device security for a new digital bank. The employee will design and build internal security systems, including CASB, DLP, MDM and EDR; improve SaaS security; and work with developers and IT staff to maintain security.
Responsibilities include evaluating current technologies and major vendors such as Microsoft, operating EDR, CASB and MDM tools, managing security risks for internal systems and external SaaS, building controls aligned with security guidelines, responding to security incidents, and implementing device-security measures. The role also deploys frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS Benchmark.
Required qualifications include foundational computer-science knowledge covering networks, operating systems, data structures and cryptography; development experience in at least one programming language; professional English communication skills; and hands-on experience building and operating internal systems such as CASB, DLP, MDM, EDR and Entra ID. Preferred qualifications include security certifications, knowledge of OIDC and OAuth, financial or FinTech security operations experience, and AI development or AI-tool experience.
Japanese and English fluency are required. This is a full-time position with Money Forward, Inc., seconded to SMBC Money Forward Bank Preparatory Corporation. The work style is hybrid, with at least two office days per week required.
