Security Specialist

This role sits in the product security function of a startup team creating a new digital bank through a SaaS and fintech project. The specialist works with developers and information-systems staff to maintain and improve security across the digital bank’s product and cloud environment.

Responsibilities include establishing cloud security guardrails, advising in-house developers on security and reviewing architectures, developing security tools and scripts, and implementing NIST CSF and CIS Controls. The role also advances DevSecOps practices involving Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and CI/CD.

Applicants need a basic foundation in information engineering, including networks, operating systems, data structures, and cryptography, plus development experience in a programming language or experience applying security by design. They must also have knowledge or experience in at least one of vulnerability assessment, cloud security, DevSecOps implementation and operations, or building and operating WAF, IDS/IPS, or SIEM solutions.
