Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This senior machine learning role sits within the Energy Products team in Woven City, which develops services for battery-electric vehicle owners. The product is an energy management system designed to reduce household energy costs through an optimized user experience, integrating data from multiple software systems and working with power, software, UX, and business development specialists.

The role leads the design, development, and deployment of an optimization engine that controls BEV charging and discharging. Responsibilities include building, training, and evaluating machine-learning and optimization models for energy prices, demand, and vehicle usage, as well as taking models from prototype to production. Technologies include Python, Go, machine-learning frameworks, AWS, and cloud computing platforms, and experience designing systems that use LLMs or AI is also required.

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in information engineering or a related field, at least seven years of experience in machine learning, optimization, or data science, strong programming ability, production deployment experience, cloud knowledge, and substantial experience designing core system components.
