Senior ML Platform Engineer

This Senior ML Platform Engineer designs, builds and supports systems for perception, prediction and planning development in Woven by Toyota’s AD/ADAS stack. The role develops tools, frameworks and libraries for dataset curation, modeling, training, evaluation and deployment, including performance tracking and failure-mode analysis.

Responsibilities include dataset-generation and cloud training/evaluation pipelines, code development and review with ML engineers, improving tools and infrastructure and contributing to long-term platform strategy. Hybrid work requires three days per week at the Nihonbashi office.

Applicants need a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience, at least five years of software-engineering fundamentals, at least two years with UNIX systems, Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow, and at least two years across the full MLOps cycle from data preparation through distributed training, testing, evaluation and deployment in cloud and edge environments. Docker and CI experience are required, as is business English for technical documentation. A relevant master’s or PhD, pipeline technologies, systems programming, GPU work, production cloud infrastructure and business Japanese are preferred.
