Senior SRE

This Senior SRE role focuses on the production infrastructure of a corporate Web3 wallet and related on-chain financial products. The named products include a corporate Web3 wallet and a DataPrivacy solution. The wallet system is entering full-scale production operations, while product planning, development and growth are being advanced for these products.

The mission is to increase infrastructure reliability, availability and scalability as the right-hand partner to the SRE lead. As support for multiple blockchains expands and the infrastructure becomes more complex, the role will address those technical challenges and serve as a core member of the on-call rotation. Responsibilities include incident response and building infrastructure that users can rely on.

Day-to-day work includes designing, building and optimizing an Azure AKS environment; designing SLOs, SLIs and error budgets and improving their monitoring; and improving and automating CI/CD pipelines. The role also provides infrastructure consultation to development teams, promotes Platform Engineering, optimizes costs and performs performance tuning.

Datachain has focused on research and development in blockchain infrastructure since its founding in 2018. Its technology connects different blockchains with security, cost efficiency and scalability. The company applies this blockchain expertise to stablecoins, tokenized deposits and other financial and digital-currency businesses built on blockchains.

Work is centered on remote work. Office work is based at Roppongi Grand Tower 35F, 3-2-1 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The work location may change to a place designated by the company, including locations where remote work is performed.
