The Test Automation Engineer (software engineer in test) strengthens unit and integration testing, which QA cannot yet cover well.
The engineer works with development teams to build checks for numerical consistency and anomaly detection based on understanding the source code and batch jobs, improves existing test-efficiency tools written in JavaScript, Kotlin and Go, widens the use of Playwright, improves test environments, introduces test frameworks, builds CI/CD pipelines and promotes non-functional test automation.
