SRE

This SRE role supports the infrastructure behind multiple healthcare products and services, including professional media, pharmaceutical promotion tools, cloud-based medical records, consumer health services, and global products. The position may work as a core SRE across the company’s infrastructure or as a team SRE embedded with a specific service development team, focusing on reliability across backend and infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities include managing on-premises infrastructure, supporting migrations to the cloud, improving network availability and cost performance across AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments, and operating development platforms and CI/CD. The role also covers cloud infrastructure, service monitoring and observability, microservice stabilization, RDBMS availability, performance tuning, implementation, and refactoring. Named technologies include Linux, Docker, ECS, KVM, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CDK, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, Nagios, Kibana, and Fluentd.

Applicants must have foundational AWS or GCP knowledge; experience building and operating infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible; experience identifying and tuning performance bottlenecks; basic programming and troubleshooting ability; experience deploying, operating, and monitoring applications in cloud or on-premises environments; and the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot Linux and Docker.
