Systems Engineer / Project Manager

This position is Systems Engineer / Project Manager. The work focuses on internal systems engineering and information security. The employee will lead security improvements aligned with industry guidelines, manage the security lifecycle of the company’s systems, conduct technical validation, prepare measures for security incidents, perform vulnerability assessments, evaluate risks, and plan countermeasures. The role also defines and implements security requirements when products are introduced.

The position covers internal corporate IT operations, including maintenance of office IT environments, devices, and networks. It also involves operating, maintaining, and managing permissions for internal SaaS services such as Google Workspace. The employee will support business departments in improving efficiency and productivity through the use and promotion of AI tools.

Required experience includes operating and managing IT infrastructure in network, server, or SaaS environments; basic information-security knowledge and practical experience implementing security measures; and experience using or operating public-cloud environments such as AWS. An information-security qualification, such as Registered Information Security Specialist, is also required.

Preferred experience includes building and operating security architectures in public clouds, working in finance or other environments requiring high security standards, and at least five years of practical experience as an internal systems engineer or security engineer. Experience leading the internal adoption of generative AI and other new IT tools, as well as Network Specialist or AWS and other cloud-related qualifications, is welcomed.

The employment type is full-time and permanent. The hiring company is Daiwa Securities, with assignment to a group-affiliated company. The scope of possible changes includes company-designated duties and locations, including telework locations.
