Systems Engineer / Project Manager

An information-security qualification, such as Registered Information Security Specialist, is also listed as required.

Preferred experience includes building and operating security architectures in public clouds, working in finance or other environments requiring high security standards, and at least five years of practical experience as an internal systems engineer or security engineer. Experience leading the internal adoption of generative AI and other new IT tools, as well as Network Specialist or AWS and other cloud-related qualifications, is welcomed.

The employment type is full-time and permanent. The employer is Daiwa Securities, with assignment to a group-affiliated company. The stated work location is Atlas Building, 5 Ichibancho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Working hours are 8:40 to 17:10, with a one-hour break. Holidays include two-day weekends on Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays. Annual paid leave is 17 to 23 days, prorated for mid-year hires, with hourly annual leave, nursing leave, and maternity and childcare leave systems. Smoking is prohibited during working hours.
