Technical Director, Experiential Content

The Technical Director leads technical delivery for interactive content across websites, smartphone apps and physical spaces. In a creative team connecting digital and real-world experiences, projects include installations, projection mapping, events, pop-up spaces and XR. The role turns ideas into feasible systems. Responsibilities include technology selection, architecture across networks, hardware and software, feasibility studies and system specifications. The director leads prototyping with XR, AI, robotics and sensing devices; directs projection and sensor-based spatial experiences; and oversees setup, testing, troubleshooting, safety and quality. The role also guides engineers and manages development processes. Applicants need around three or more years of hands-on development in experiential or interactive content, with experience in areas such as sensor-connected signage, projection mapping, sensor/hardware-integrated systems, XR (VR/AR/MR), WebAR or camera-linked effects, audio-responsive content, real-time 3D or physics simulation.
