CRI Middleware researches and develops audio and video technology and sells it under its CRIWARE and OPTPiX brands. Its game business supplies sound and video middleware to game developers, while its enterprise business supports in-vehicle sound and instrument graphics, karaoke and other audio equipment.
For web services and e-commerce it applies image and video compression and real-time processing, including 360-degree swipe videos that let shoppers turn a product. It also offers voice chat for online communication and software for embedded devices such as home appliances, surveillance cameras, entertainment equipment and learning materials. The group had 173 employees as of September 2025.
