LayerX is a Japanese AI software company whose main offering, Bakuraku, automates back-office work such as expense claims, invoice handling, attendance and payroll. It also develops Ai Workforce for document processing and data use at enterprises and public bodies, and sells its business software and related services to organizations.
Its fintech group provides the ALTERNA investment service and develops digital-securities funds. LayerX also entered cybersecurity by bringing AgenticSec into the group in April 2026; its product uses AI agents for continuous penetration testing.
