LayerX is a Japanese AI software company whose main offering, Bakuraku, uses AI agents to automate back-office work such as expense claims, invoice handling, attendance and payroll. It also develops Ai Workforce, which applies large language models to document processing and data use inside companies and public bodies.
Its Fintech business works on digital securities and asset management through group companies, including Mitsui & Co. Digital Asset Management. LayerX also entered security in April 2026 by bringing AgenticSec into the group; the business focuses on continuous vulnerability testing carried out by AI agents.
