NearMe is a Japanese mobility company that uses proprietary AI to match riders traveling in the same direction and generate routes for on-demand vehicles. Its core Airport Shuttle connects airports with homes, hotels and other designated locations; it also provides shared taxis, large-vehicle charters and local transport programs for travelers, groups, residents and municipalities. Customers pay fares or fixed booking prices for shared and charter rides.
Airport Shuttle is a prebooked, door-to-door service, while charter vehicles serve families, friends and business groups. NearMe also works with transport operators and public bodies on regional mobility. In August 2026, it expanded its hourly large-vehicle charter service beyond Tokyo to Osaka and Kyoto, Hokkaido, Tokai and Okinawa.
