Business Chief of Staff

This role is part of the COO Office as a Business Chief of Staff and reports directly to COO Sakata. Its mission is to advance Hacobu’s business growth. The person identifies the company’s most important issues, develops hypotheses based on what is needed to move the company forward, involves stakeholders across departments and job levels, and takes ownership of work through resolution.

Hacobu is described as a logistics DX company in its twelfth year. Its main business is the MOVO series of SaaS products. The series has grown into one of the largest-scale domestic logistics platforms, with more than 44,000 cumulative user locations and more than 800,000 registered drivers.

Sakata’s Business Growth Division includes Hacobu Solution Studio, which is described as a newly launched unit. The role can cover business strategy for new businesses and a broad range of themes involving the business, organization, and management. It is positioned close to management and provides exposure to decision-making processes and wide-ranging business and organizational issues.
