Value Senior Advisor

About this role

The Value Senior Advisor is a senior, customer-facing advisor who works with CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, CHROs and other executive stakeholders on enterprise-wide transformation and measurable business value. The role analyzes financial statements, mid-term business plans, integrated reports and executive KPIs to ground transformation discussions in quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities include assessing strategic priorities, transformation objectives and value opportunities with executives; creating business cases for executive and board-level audiences using financial and non-financial metrics; and supporting Value Management. This includes value-based GO/NO-GO decision support, defining clear value targets for transformation initiatives, measuring value realization and guiding continuous improvement.

The advisor works with SAP sales and delivery teams to shape account strategies, support strategic deals and accelerate the pipeline. The role also leads complex engagements involving cross-functional SAP teams and customer stakeholders, and develops long-term, trust-based relationships with executive sponsors. It applies SAP's global value methodologies, frameworks and tools while maintaining current knowledge of methods and tools developed by SAP global teams and the Value Advisory community.

Required experience includes at least 15 years in enterprise roles, management consulting, or digital or business transformation. Candidates should have experience engaging with CEOs, CIOs, CFOs and CHROs, strong financial and business analysis skills, executive presence and excellent communication skills. Experience with SAP solutions is strongly preferred.

The role requires the ability to turn complex financial and operational analysis into clear executive narratives. It also calls for collaborative stakeholder engagement, attentive listening, communication adapted to stakeholder needs, and the ability to identify issues, mobilize stakeholders, deliver quick wins and scale them into repeatable practices. The position expects individual initiative that creates organizational impact beyond personal contribution.

This is a regular full-time position in Tokyo. Expected travel is 0–10%. The posting states that successful candidates might be required to undergo background verification with an external vendor.
