Video Creator, Pro Wrestling NOAH Branding

This role produces video content for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s official YouTube channel, social media, fan club, and other owned media. The creator handles the full process from planning and location research to permits, scheduling, on-site filming, direction, editing, and final delivery.

Responsibilities include filming at training facilities and match venues, coordinating schedules with wrestlers and other stakeholders, directing interviews to draw out athletes’ appeal and candid perspectives, and managing production progress. The role also includes editing with Adobe software and adding captions, background music, and sound effects.

The creator analyzes YouTube and other social-media analytics, including view counts and audience demographics, and proposes improvements and measures for future content. The content is mainly documentary-based and supports the branding and value of the organization and its wrestlers.

Required qualifications include approximately two or more years of hands-on experience independently handling video production from planning through filming and editing at a business or video-production company. Practical video-editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or similar Adobe software are required, as is knowledge of marketing perspectives such as customer acquisition and branding through video content.

Knowledge of or interest in professional wrestling rules, terminology, and industry trends; experience operating YouTube or other social-media accounts and analyzing analytics; and content-production or direction experience in sports or entertainment are welcomed.

The position is full-time. The stated annual salary range is JPY 3.6288 million to JPY 4.008 million, with monthly pay of JPY 302,000 to JPY 334,000. Working hours are 10:00 to 19:00, with eight scheduled hours and a 60-minute break. Overtime is available, with an average of 30 hours per month. The workplace is the Tokyo office and the worker’s home, including telework locations designated by the company. The hiring process includes two interviews, generally conducted in person, with online interviews possible depending on circumstances. A three-month probationary period applies.
