About this role

This role supports the stable operation and long-term use of commercial air-conditioning equipment. The main focus is proposal activity, front-line customer service, and management of outsourced service companies. Depending on the area, the employee may also perform on-site maintenance and servicing as a company technician. Work includes preventive maintenance through inspections, adjustments, and repairs; rapid restoration when problems occur; proposals for optimal operation, energy savings, equipment renewal, and replacement; and proposals using cloud services for AI energy saving, facility management, and maintenance scheduling.

Required qualifications include experience in service work or sales, strong customer-facing ability, knowledge of mechanical technology, a willingness to learn technical subjects, a refrigeration machinery supervisor qualification, a Class 2 electrical worker license, and an ordinary vehicle driving license. Experience servicing commercial air-conditioning equipment, experience in the building equipment industry, or experience selling air-conditioning equipment is welcomed. Additional welcomed qualifications include construction management and refrigeration or refrigerant-handling credentials listed in the posting.

The role requires the ability to work within an organization and demonstrate cooperation, responsibility, initiative, flexible thinking, broad perspective, curiosity, perseverance, and integrity. Candidates should be able to understand customer needs and propose air-conditioning environments that balance comfort, functionality, and cost, while identifying issues and proposing improvements.

The position is based in Sumida, Tokyo. Standard working hours are 9:00 to 17:30, with 7 hours and 45 minutes of scheduled work and a 45-minute break.
