Construction Project Manager

This role manages repair and modification construction for private-sector wastewater treatment plants designed and built by the company. Working with sales representatives, the person identifies customer issues and considers suitable construction methods. Responsibilities include preparing construction and budget plans, creating documents required before work starts, and acting as the site representative responsible for safety, quality and schedule management. Projects range from several days to several months, and the role also includes preparing reports after completion. The position covers the process from customer meetings and planning through construction completion and is intended to develop customer proposal and project management capabilities alongside construction management experience.

Applicants must meet at least one of the stated requirements: experience in maintenance or servicing in any industry, graduation from a designated field such as mechanical, electrical or architecture, or sales experience.

The work concerns environmental engineering and social infrastructure, particularly industrial wastewater treatment plants. The main business-trip area is the Kanto region. The organization includes employees from experienced senior staff to younger members, and mid-career employees are also present and that work is handled through team-based problem solving.

The position is full-time and located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Work from home is available. The position has no immediate transfer planned, although transfers to company locations may be possible for general-track employees.

Direct travel to and from customer sites, staggered working hours and work from home are available.
