Construction Management Engineer

The role manages construction work for recycling plants, mainly repair projects. Responsibilities cover the complete process through project completion, including client meetings, construction planning, preparing quotations, schedule management, safety management, quality management, construction supervision, and report preparation. Clients include government agencies and private companies such as industrial-waste operators and recycling centers. Project values range from several hundred thousand to several tens of millions of yen. The successful candidate is expected to develop toward becoming a site representative in the future.

Applicants must hold an ordinary driver's license and meet at least one of the following conditions: experience in some form of construction management; graduation from a mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or architecture department; field-engineer experience; or experience installing machinery or maintaining and servicing mechanical equipment. Graduation in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or architecture is welcomed, including graduates of technical high schools, colleges of technology, and science or engineering programs.

The organization has 22 members, including 14 at the head office. Assignments are mainly in the Kanto-Koshinetsu area. Business trips generally last two days to one week, with a maximum of approximately two weeks. Travel to regional sites often involves public transportation followed by a rental car driven by the employee.

Telework is available. The position is full-time and permanent, with a six-month probationary period under unchanged conditions.
