The position is part of a 13-person estimating group. Business trips are mainly within the Kanto and Koshinetsu areas, generally lasting from one day to two days, with an average frequency of two to three trips per month including day trips. Sites are often in suburban areas, so travel usually combines public transportation with a rental car driven to the site.
Applicants must hold an ordinary driver’s license and meet at least one of these conditions: graduation from a science-related course, experience in cost estimating, or work experience in the construction industry. Knowledge of plan views, sectional views, piping skeleton drawings and fabrication drawings is welcomed. Additional qualifications welcomed include Professional Engineer Assistant in the water supply and sewerage field, Class 2 or Class 3 Sewerage Technical Examination certification, supervising or chief engineer certification for machinery and equipment installation, and civil engineering施工管理技士 certification.
