Health Guidance Specialist

The health guidance specialist conducts consultations with participants either in person or online. The role involves reviewing health examination results and lifestyle habits, explaining health risks in an accessible way, and helping each participant set goals such as increasing exercise or improving diet.

The specialist provides practical advice suited to each participant’s lifestyle and follows up regularly by chat, email, or telephone. Progress and support details are recorded in a system, and results are reported to companies or health insurance associations when necessary.

Applicants must hold either a registered dietitian qualification or a public health nurse qualification. Applicants also need the ability to use a computer without difficulty and the ability to commute to the company’s Tokyo office. Experience in health guidance is welcomed but is not mandatory.

The work uses knowledge of nutrition, exercise science, and psychology. The position supports health guidance services provided to large companies, health insurance associations, and municipalities, with a focus on lifestyle-related disease prevention and health support.

This is a contract assignment with automatic renewal every three months. The general payment amount is described as negotiable.

Weekend work may occur during busy periods. Training staff provide support at the beginning of the assignment, including explanations of the work manual. The workplace is the Tokyo office in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
