AI Technology and Solutions Developer

The role develops AI-based solutions to transform business processes in the construction and real estate sectors, using the company’s electrical-equipment expertise as a foundation. The work covers the value chain from design and construction through operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities include identifying customer issues through exhibitions and company visits; analyzing and structuring operational data; applying AI models to specific business challenges; designing systems and architectures for process reform; developing prototypes; validating and improving their effectiveness; and creating intellectual property. The position also coordinates projects with internal business divisions, searches for external partners, and considers potential collaborations.

Required experience includes development or design using AI, IT, or cloud technologies; experience analyzing business issues and solving them with technology; and experience promoting projects in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. Knowledge or experience with current generative AI models and data analysis, construction, facilities, or real estate is welcomed, as are software development, cloud utilization, proof-of-concept, and new project experience.

The position belongs to the AI Solutions Development Section within the AI Solutions Technology Department of the Advanced Technology Innovation Center. The team works on proprietary knowledge and autonomous decision-making and actions in AI solutions, with a focus on understanding business processes and data and creating mechanisms that maximize business value. Project work involves collaboration with the Solutions Engineering Division and external organizations.

Employment is full-time. The standard working hours are 8:45 to 17:15, with a flextime system and a standard working time of 7 hours 45 minutes per day. Domestic travel may occur several times per month depending on the work and development stage, and travel abroad may occur approximately once a year when collaborating with overseas companies or research institutions. The job is located in Minato, Tokyo or Kadoma, Osaka. The monthly salary is JPY 360,000 to 647,000, with the annual salary determined according to experience, ability, and position under company regulations. The probationary period is three months with no change in conditions.
