AI / Data Engineer

This AI/Data Engineer role leads the design, implementation, and operation of company-wide AI and data platforms. The work includes helping business areas improve operational efficiency through AI, creating systems for workflow automation and enhancement with generative AI, and developing mechanisms to extract, process, and provide business data. It also includes building data delivery and analytics platforms that use AI.

The engineer works with business teams to identify where AI and data can create the greatest value, rather than limiting the role to technical platform maintenance. Themes are developed through interviews with the relevant business areas. Depending on the candidate’s experience and skills, the role may cover part or all of these responsibilities.

The position supports multiple businesses and teams instead of being limited to one product. For development and business support, the organization uses generative AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code throughout design, implementation, verification, and improvement. Product managers and business members also use generative AI for planning, organizing hypotheses, designing operations, and prototyping.
