Required qualifications include approximately five or more years of experience in consistently handling AI system requirements definition, design, development, testing, maintenance, and operations; knowledge and implementation experience in machine learning and deep learning; and practical project management experience. Native-level Japanese is required, along with English ability at conversational level or above and no resistance to using English.

Preferred experience includes developing and deploying AI models using AWS, GCP, or Azure; practical data analysis and data science skills; knowledge and development achievements involving generative AI, including large language models; advanced expertise in algorithm design or mathematical statistics; and vendor management experience covering vendor selection, ordering, and progress management.

This is a full-time, indefinite-term position with a six-month probationary period. Annual compensation is estimated at JPY 8,000,000 to JPY 12,000,000, with a fixed monthly salary including deemed overtime for 45 hours and performance-based bonuses paid twice yearly. The position is based in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Engineers generally work from the office once per week, with remote work available according to project needs, including client visits and field surveys. Working hours use a discretionary labor system with an eight-hour deemed workday; during probation, a flextime system applies.
