CyberAgent's AI Business division is hiring an AI Lab Planning and Development Engineer. AI Lab is the company's research organisation for AI technologies behind its advertising, dialogue and robot services, and it has set up a strategy office to turn research results into planned business uses.
The engineer makes those plans concrete and tests whether they are feasible, aiming to get research results into practical use quickly through many proof-of-concept and prototyping efforts. In PoC work the engineer proposes AI solutions from business needs, plans how to validate them, and runs experiments and evaluation on real-world data with research scientists. In prototyping, the engineer defines requirements and designs functions, builds so the AI techniques run on the prototype, and develops the end-user UI including data preprocessing and model-output postprocessing. One example is testing whether generative AI can make creative production more efficient.
Preferred experience includes validating machine-learning systems, such as evaluating model performance, the ability to read machine-learning papers and implement their ideas, and an interest in validation driven by PoCs and prototypes.
