The AI Enablement Lead joins the AI Promotion team supporting WealthNavi’s personal financial platform and multi-product expansion. The team works with departments across the company to use AI for operational efficiency and improved customer experiences.
Responsibilities include setting and executing the strategy for an AI-driven business foundation, planning and advancing company-wide AI projects, analyzing data to plan and evaluate projects, identifying business issues, and proposing AI-based improvements. The role works with internal departments and product teams to identify operational challenges and advance AI implementation projects.
The position also covers requirements definition, design, development, and operation of AI systems centered on AI models. It includes DevOps for the AI-driven business foundation and AI governance, including risk analysis and evaluation at implementation, planning and operating risk controls, establishing internal rules for safe AI use, and promoting employee education. The lead is expected to contribute specialist knowledge to AI projects, coordinate cross-functional adoption, support team members’ development, and use data-based investment-return assessments to prioritize initiatives.
Required qualifications are at least five years of experience participating in AI projects at a business company, the ability to identify business problems and communicate across technology and business areas, and substantial practical experience as an AI enablement engineer. Preferred qualifications include leading AI projects across planning, design, development, implementation, and evaluation; practical data-analysis experience; experience developing AI models using machine learning; a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience; knowledge and experience in security measures; and English ability for technical research.

This is a regular, full-time position in Shinagawa, Tokyo. Annual compensation is JPY 8,000,000–12,000,000, paid monthly in 12 installments under an annual salary system.
