DeNA's healthcare business is hiring a Backend Engineer, on assignment to DeSC Healthcare, for kencom, the healthcare entertainment app that health insurance societies and local governments offer to more than eight million users. The engineer works in SAT-alpha, a self-contained product team that builds features for contracted customers and the MiRAI admin tool they use.
The engineer develops and operates the platform across the whole cycle, from feature improvement proposals and requirements through design, implementation, testing, QA and deployment. The team uses an agile approach and flexibly assigns technical areas each sprint according to members' wishes, so work can cross backend and other layers. The environment includes Go, Ruby on Rails, Next.js, Swift and Kotlin on GCP and AWS, plus GitHub Enterprise, Jira and AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Devin.
