Corporate IT (Information Systems Specialist)

Belong operates businesses involving the sale, purchase, and rental of used smartphones. This corporate IT role supports the company’s internal information systems, protects information assets and personal information, and helps employees work in a stable and secure environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to internal IT inquiries and troubleshooting issues through the help desk; procuring and managing devices, software, licenses, and other IT assets; and preparing for employee onboarding, departures, and transfers. The role also improves these processes over time.

The position is responsible for determining operating policies for internal tools, introducing and managing those tools, and managing information published internally and externally. It also includes network infrastructure construction and management for an operations center that handles a very large volume of data, access control, account inventory work, and responses to audits.

The role coordinates with CxO-level stakeholders and other relevant parties to gather information, then takes primary responsibility for planning and carrying out measures against security threats and cyberattacks, including measures intended to prevent information leakage. The posting also calls for considering and promoting automation of various tasks.

Responsibilities are assigned progressively rather than all at once, with the initial focus based on the candidate’s strengths. The role can develop either toward expertise in a particular area or toward broader responsibility across multiple corporate IT areas.

The work location is the Tokyo headquarters in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The stated range for possible workplace changes includes locations where remote work is performed. The current office is scheduled to move to a new location near Aoyama-itchome Station around autumn 2026, and work will continue at the current location until the move.
