Deputy General Manager Candidate, Product Security

The Deputy General Manager candidate in the Product Security Department within the CISO Office will work closely with developers to maintain and improve product security. Responsibilities include establishing security guardrails for a multi-cloud environment, implementing DevSecOps, developing security tools and scripts, deploying NIST CSF and CIS Controls frameworks, and managing the product-security organization, including member development and organization building.

Requirements include foundational computer-science knowledge covering networks, operating systems, data structures and cryptography; management experience for an organization of five or more people; cross-functional communication skills; and development experience in a programming language or security-by-design practice. Candidates need business-level English communication ability, equivalent to TOEIC 700 or higher. Relevant experience includes cloud security, DevSecOps, WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM operations, or product-security incident response.

The role is based in Minato, Tokyo, under a hybrid work style with at least two office days per week required. Standard hours are 9:30 to 18:30 with a 60-minute break, under a discretionary work system subject to conditions.
