Engineer Leader

Synspective (one of a handful of small-SAR-satellite operators, born from Japan's ImPACT program, listed on TSE Growth in Dec 2024; provides observation data/solutions via its StriX small-SAR satellites) seeks an Engineer Leader for its Data Production Department's Ground Control unit. You lead development and operation of the Data Processing System that processes mission data downlinked to ground stations into SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images — a technical-leader role including cross-team technical coordination and project management. Work: design/develop reception and management of satellite RAW data (FTP/TCP streaming); design preprocessing logic and splitting algorithms for mixed/unnecessary data; design/improve decryption pipelines for encrypted data; design interfaces to SAR-image-generation software and data provision; implement processing-mode branching and delivery-process control per customer orders; technical-spec coordination with stakeholders and interface definition; team task management, review and technical direction; and lead performance improvement and incident response. Required (technical): Linux application development (Go, C/C++, Rust, Python); ETL/streaming data-processing development; TCP/UDP/FTP protocol knowledge; basic encryption/decryption understanding; Git. Required (management): leading small-to-mid dev teams (task management, review, tech selection); stakeholder requirements/spec work; problem-solving with whole-process judgment. Preferred: SAR/remote-sensing/satellite-data processing; batch/workflow systems; large-scale data platforms (HPC/cloud/distributed); Docker/Kubernetes; English technical communication.
