Monstarlab is hiring a FullCycle Engineer to lead product development from planning to operation with AI-driven development for services using AI, fintech, IoT and VR. The FullCycle development team was just launched in the Practice and Innovation Tech team in Japan, so the engineer helps build the team itself.
The engineer covers the whole process from requirements and design to implementation, testing, deployment and operation as a full-stack engineer and builds CI/CD pipelines. As tech lead, the engineer decides technical direction, guides developers and oversees development teams centered on Japan and Vietnam. The role also drives AI-assisted development, evaluating and promoting tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Devin to make requirements, design, implementation and testing more efficient.
Applicants need three or more years of practical experience as a technical leader on web system projects and cloud development on AWS, Azure or GCP. Domain-driven design, agile and generative AI experience are preferred. English is not required, and work can be done entirely in Japanese.
